# Custom Integrations

> Custom API integrations are coming soon. We're building the ability for your agent to call external APIs as part of its workflow.

## What's planned

Custom actions will let your agent connect to any tool or service via API. If you use a tool that eesel AI doesn't have a built-in integration for, you'll be able to create a custom action that connects to its API.

**Example use cases:**

* Look up customer data from your internal CRM
* Check inventory in a warehouse management system
* Create records in a custom database
* Call a third-party API for real-time data (shipping rates, currency conversion, etc.)
