# YouTube

To add YouTube videos as a source of knowledge for the bot, you must be on a paid Business Plan (unavailable in the trial).

The process of adding YouTube videos as knowledge enables the bot to create transcripts of the videos, and these transcripts are what the bot uses to help answer questions.

You can also give the bot knowledge of YouTube video URLs to be use in its responses. For example, add an [article](/legacy/getting-started/faq.md#what-are-articles-how-do-i-use-them) that contains the name/description of the video, and the URL. Then, add to the [prompt](/legacy/getting-started/prompt-and-actions.md) that the AI should always link the relevant YouTube video URL in its responses.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.eesel.ai/legacy/integrations/youtube.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
